Explanation: Multiply 822 by 9 using column multiplication. Start by multiplying 9 by the ones digit (2) to get 18. Drop the 8 and carry the 1. Then, multiply by the tens digit (2) to get 18 again. Add the 1 from before to get 19. Drop the 9 and carry the 1. Finally, multiply by the hundreds digit (8) to get 72. Add the one to get 73. Drop both numbers to get the final number of 7,398.

Round 43,564 to the nearest tens place.

Answer: 43,560

Explanation: When rounding to the nearest tens place, look at the ones place. If the digit in the ones place is 1-4, round down. If the digit in the ones place is 5-9, round up. Since the ones digit is 4, we have to round down to get 43,560.

Rectangle ABCD is graphed in the coordinate plane, but the coordinates of vertex D are missing. Given the coordinates of A, B, and C, determine the coordinates of point D.
